Erasmus+ Trip to Lithuania

The 6 students and the two teachers, Ms Linehan and Ms Morgan, left Dublin airport on Sunday the 20th of October. They arrived at Kaunas airport and took a bus to Seta, their host town. They arrived at the school and met their partners. On Monday the Erasmus+ students made their presentations about their schools. After that, the Lithuanian teachers performed a traditional song and dance. They also did a workshop with a well-known illustrator where they learned different watercolour painting techniques. They did icebreakers with the German students and then went home to their partners houses. On Tuesday they went on a trip to Vilnius and visited a modern art museum there. They also visited a castle in a nearby village. On Wednesday they did 3 different workshops; painting, graphics and I.T. In the afternoon they visited Kedainai, and they did a tour of the town and a range of different workshops. The students did pottery and the teachers did weaving. Then they went back to the school and there was an open night in the school where students and their parents all came and brought different Lithuanian dishes. On Thursday, they did a canopy walk and saw the biggest rock in Lithuania. Then they went to an adventure park and did different activities. Then they visited The Lithuanian Museum of Ethnocosmology. On Friday, they did a t-shirt painting workshop. They also did a quiz about what they learned on their trip. The final activity they did in Lithuania was a tour of Seta. Then they left from Kaunas airport and arrived at Dublin airport on the 25th of October.
